Adult Modern (7:30 PM - 9:00 PM)

Modern dance is a dance style that centers on a dancer's own interpretations instead of structured steps, as in traditional ballet dancing. Modern dance encourages dancers to use their emotions and moods to design their own steps and routines.

HIP HOP with Junious "House" Brickhouse and Rizqi Rachmat

$10 per class - All Ages Welcome

Attendees will learn the history and vocabulary of urban dance methods and explore the influences that brought Hip-Hop from a musical genre to a cultural ideology. Students will learn to create choreography that explodes on stage. Classes are one hour and are geared toward beginners, however students of all levels interested in having fun learning a strong foundation in Hip-Hop dance are encouraged to attend.

Includes 5 weeks of choreography classes in the respective style of dance selected for that session. Washington Reflection's Dance Company Performance (8:00 PM)

The Washington Reflections Dance Company will be performing at the Dance Bethesda Dance Concert on Saturday, February 27th @ 8PM. The 2010 Dance Bethesda festivities include free lessons and parties at various downtown Bethesda dance studios, hip-hop master classes and a dance concert featuring six of the regions top companies showcasing various genres. Please come and enjoy!
